Pastor Joshua Teis grew up in a pastor's family in Las Vegas, Nevada. At a young age he trusted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior and surrendered to full-time ministry at 15. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree at Pensacola Christian College where he met his wife, Heather. They were married and served together at Liberty Baptist Church under Pastor Dave Teis for two years as the children's pastor.He just finished working on his Master's Degree in Bible Exposition from Pensacola Theological Seminary.
Pastor Teis and his wife have ministered to the southwest valley at Southern Hills for the past six years. They now have one son, Jonathan David, and two daughters, Savannah Tyler and Scarlett Noel, and are eager to meet you and your family.
Pastor Fred Murray is a Las Vegas native and he and his wife Kelly have grown up in the Las Vegas valley. Fred was saved at the age of four and grew up under the ministry of Dr. David Teis Pastor of Liberty Baptist Church.
Fred attended college at Pensacola Christian College where he majored in Accounting. Following his freshmen year he worked as a summer missionary at Liberty Baptist Church, and the following semester changed his major to Pastoral Ministries. He graduated in December of 2005 with his Bachelor's degree and graduated in 2007 with his Master's in Bible Exposition from Pensacola Theological Seminary. Fred and Kelly met at college and were married in June of 2004. God brought Fred and Kelly to Southern Hills Baptist Church in June of 2007 where he serves as the Administrative Pastor and Youth Pastor.
Pastor Jason Coombes grew up in a pastor's home in the state of Indiana. The early influence of the Bible and godly parents allowed Jason to see his need of salvation at age seven. Since that time the Lord has guided him to serve in full time ministry. At Pensacola Christian College, he earned a Bachelor's degree in sacred music. While at college, Jason met his wife, Kimberly who also has a Bachelor and a Master's degree in music. They were married in June of 2001.
For seven years Jason and Kimberly traveled the country in music evangelism. They have also spent several summers in camp ministry as well as international crusades. They have the privilege of raising four children; Scott, Madelynn, Micah, and Emersyn.
